Complete Process Capability — from Fine Blanking to Assembled Shipment

Choun Yi and its subsidiary Creative Tools share one production base: fine blanking, 5-axis CNC and digital water grinding, backed by KEYENCE image measurement and laser marking systems — so every part, from the first to the last, holds the same precision.

Eight Core Processes

Every process step has its own equipment and inspection

01

Fine Blanking & Stamping

Fine blanking is a high-precision stamping process that mass-produces metal parts with smooth cut edges and exact dimensions. Compared with conventional stamping, it delivers a better sheared surface and flatness, and holds consistent quality and tight dimensional tolerances across large volumes — the foundation for blades, plier heads and thick-stock parts of every kind.

Digital Water Grinding

Digital water grinding uses CNC control to grind blade surfaces with high precision, while water cooling keeps the edge from overheating. It determines how clean the grind lines are and how refined the surface finish is, keeps every blade in a batch consistent, and makes the polishing and assembly that follow far more efficient.

Surface Polishing

Polishing refines a rough or uneven surface to a smooth, even mirror-like finish, improving both the look and the function of a part. We offer brushed, bright and other finishes, and can prepare the base surface required for downstream treatments such as titanium coating or EDP.

CNC Machining

CNC machining handles complex geometries such as 3D contoured surfaces that stamping cannot produce. Our 5-axis centers work several faces in one setup and deliver stable results on composite and specialty materials — G10, Micarta, wood, carbon fiber and titanium alloys — ideal for handle scales, lock mechanisms and other high-precision parts.

Secondary Operations — Flex Team

The flex team is the adaptable unit that links the main processes, handling the secondary operations hardware parts need between or after them: tapping, chamfering, flattening and straightening, surface grinding, demagnetising and drying. Staffed flexibly to each work order and ready to step in at any point, it brings parts up to drawing before they move to the next station, so no small operation ever holds up the line.

KEYENCE Image Measurement & Microscope Inspection

The KEYENCE instant image measurement system checks part dimensions in seconds using automated image technology, confirming conformance to specification; the microscope inspection system goes further to detect tiny defects and measure blade edge angles — making quality quantified and traceable.

KEYENCE Laser Marking

The laser marking system engraves brand logos, barcodes, date codes and serial numbers on a wide range of metal surfaces. KEYENCE equipment offers high accuracy and stability, reproducing the designer's original artwork faithfully so brand identity is crisp and consistent on every unit.

Assembly & Packaging Lines

We run three assembly lines and one packaging line. Product-specific assembly jigs combined with experienced technicians make assembly efficient and repeatable, with capacity that scales to customer demand. The packaging line finishes goods ready for shipment, so clients can put them straight on the shelf on arrival.
