Choun Yi Industrial Co., Ltd. ("we") takes your personal data seriously. This policy explains how information you provide through this website (chounyi.com) is collected, used, stored and protected. Last updated: September 2026.
When you submit an enquiry, a quick question or a job application, we collect the name, company, email address, phone number and message you provide, together with any file you upload (drawings or a CV).
Our server automatically records basic technical information (IP address, browser type) solely to prevent abuse and keep the site running. The public site does not use tracking cookies; the login cookie used by our admin area is for our staff only.
Only to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, process a job application and carry on subsequent business with you. We do not add your details to marketing lists, and we never sell or rent them to third parties.
Drawings and technical files you upload are stored in a private, access-controlled area that cannot be opened from a public URL. Only our authorised sales and engineering staff can access them, and they are handled under our ISO/IEC 27001 information security management system. On request we will sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) before quoting.
Enquiry data is kept for up to 3 years after the business relationship ends; job application data for up to 1 year. It is deleted at expiry or earlier on your request. Where a formal business relationship exists, related records are kept as required by contract and law.
This website is hosted on Render (a cloud hosting service); form data and uploaded files are stored on its servers and database. Notifications of new enquiries are sent to our sales staff through our email provider. These providers process data only on our behalf and may not use it for any other purpose.
You may at any time ask to see, correct or delete your data, or ask us to stop using it. Customers in the EU/UK have the same rights under the GDPR. Email cy22697930@gmail.com; we reply within 1–2 business days and act within a reasonable period.
