A multi-tool contains dozens of stamped and machined parts, and it takes fine blanking, heat treatment and modular assembly to turn them into one tool that works smoothly and lasts. Choun Yi builds 10-in-1 and larger multi-tool pliers, keychain tools and EDC pocket tools in volume for tool brands, and supplies stamped components for pneumatic nailers and other tools.
Plier-based multi-tools (needle-nose, blunt-nose and butterfly-opening heads), keychain and card-style EDC tools, single-function pocket tools, and components such as plier heads, blades, drivers and spring plates. Configurations from 10-in-1 to 20-in-1 and beyond can be combined to a brand's specification.
The hard part of a multi-tool is tolerance stack-up across dozens of parts: a plier head off by 0.05 mm shows up as a different opening feel. Our approach is to measure every part on KEYENCE image measurement systems after blanking and heat treatment, trace assembly to batches by work order, and run the whole thing under an ISO 9001:2015-certified quality system. The sequence is the same as for knives: design review → quotation → sampling → pilot run → volume production.
Yes. Modular assembly exists for exactly this: plier head type, tool blades, handle material and colour can all be combined to your specification, and we confirm tolerances and assembly sequence during design review.
Yes. Plier heads, tool blades, spring plates and handles can be supplied separately by batch, shipped with measurement reports.
Yes for sampling and pilot runs. Minimum order quantity depends on product complexity; tell us your estimated volume in the RFQ and we will advise.
No. Customer tooling and designs belong to the customer, drawings are stored with per-project access, and we sign NDAs. Our 25+ year relationships with the same brands rest on exactly this.
